Total troops indicated include any deployed reserves.

Top is always defender forces
Bottom is always attacking forces
Reserve amount indicated is total reserves deployed to combine with planet force before combat occurs. So if the defender forces engaged was 15%, then only 15% of the deployed reserves would have actually participated.
